Who we are
madenot is a trading name of RAD ECOM LIMITED, registered in Ireland under company number 638589, with its registered office at 72 Castleheath, Malahide, Dublin, K36 KF10, Ireland. RAD ECOM LIMITED is the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. You can contact us at support@madenot.com about anything on this page.
What we collect
When you place an order: your name, email address, delivery address, billing address, phone number if you give one, and the details of what you ordered. We do not receive or store your full card number — payment details go directly to our payment providers.
When you contact us: your name, email address and whatever you tell us in your message.
When you browse the site: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit, referring site, and how you move through the site. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies.
When you sign up to our mailing list: your email address.
Why we use it, and our legal basis

Who we share it with
We share only what is necessary, and only with:
- Shopify — the platform this shop runs on, which hosts our store and processes orders.
- Payment providers (Shopify Payments, PayPal) — to take payment. They receive your payment and billing details directly.
- Our delivery carriers — we pass your name, delivery address and phone number so your parcel can be delivered. Orders are dispatched from our own warehouse in Ireland and handled by Irish carriers.
- AutoDS — the inventory and order management software we use to run the warehouse.
- ParcelPanel — to provide order tracking.
- MIDA — session analytics, described below.
- Google — for advertising and shopping listings, and for analytics.
We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
Session analytics
We use session recording and heatmap analytics to understand how visitors move through the site so that we can improve it. These tools record page views, clicks, scrolling and mouse movement. They do not capture the contents of payment fields. If you would prefer not to be included, enable "Do Not Track" in your browser settings, or email support@madenot.com and we will exclude you.
Cookies
We use cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to work (keeping your basket, keeping you signed in, security), and optional cookies for analytics and advertising. You can accept or decline the optional ones through the cookie banner, and change your mind at any time through your browser settings.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for seven years, as Irish tax law requires. Customer service correspondence is kept for two years. Marketing consent is kept until you withdraw it. Analytics data is kept for 14 months.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to: get a copy of the personal data we hold about you; have inaccurate data corrected; have your data erased where we no longer need it; restrict or object to how we use it; receive your data in a portable format; and withdraw consent at any time where consent is the basis we rely on.

Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, you can complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission at 6 Pembroke Row, Dublin 2, D02 X963, or at www.dataprotection.ie.
Changes
We will update this page if our practices change, and the date below will change with it.
