Terms of service

1. Who these terms are with

These terms govern your use of https://madenot.com and any purchase you make from it. The site is operated by RAD ECOM LIMITED, a private company limited by shares registered in Ireland under company number 638589, with its registered office at 72 Castleheath, Malahide, Dublin, K36 KF10, Ireland, trading as madenot ("we", "us", "our"). Contact: support@madenot.com.

By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these terms.

2. Who can buy

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. We sell to consumers in the Republic of Ireland only.

3. What we sell

madenot is a retailer. We select and resell menswear produced by third-party manufacturers; we do not manufacture the goods ourselves. Product descriptions, materials and measurements are provided in good faith based on information from our suppliers. Colours may appear differently between screens.

4. Orders and when a contract is formed

Placing an order is an offer to buy. We accept your offer, and a contract is formed, when we send you a dispatch confirmation — not when you receive the order acknowledgement.

We may decline an order if the item is unavailable, if there is a pricing or description error, if we cannot deliver to your address, or if we suspect fraud. If we decline after you have paid, we refund you in full.

5. Prices and payment

Prices are in euro and include VAT where applicable. Delivery is free within Ireland. Payment is taken in full when you place your order.

If we discover a genuine pricing error before dispatch, we will contact you and give you the choice of paying the correct price or cancelling for a full refund. We will never charge you more than the price shown without your agreement.

6. Availability

Our range is small and changes. Where an item becomes unavailable after you order, we will tell you promptly and refund you in full.

7. Delivery

We deliver within the Republic of Ireland. Orders are normally processed within 1–2 business days and dispatched from our warehouse at Unit 44, Block I, Southern Cross Business Park, Bray, Co. Wicklow, A98 HD43. Standard delivery takes 3–7 business days after dispatch, giving a total of 4–9 business days from the date the order is placed. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.

8. Your right to cancel, and returns

You have a statutory right to withdraw within 14 days of receiving your order. Separately, our own returns policy gives you 60 days. Both are set out on our Right of Withdrawal and Refund Policy pages, which form part of these terms.

9. Faulty or misdescribed goods

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2022 and other Irish consumer law. Goods must be of merchantable quality, fit for purpose and as described. Where they are not, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund, and we cover return postage.

10. Our content

The text, layout, logo and original imagery on this site belong to us or our licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission. Product imagery supplied by manufacturers remains theirs.

11. Using the site properly

Don't use the site unlawfully, don't attempt to interfere with it or gain unauthorised access, and don't scrape or copy its content for commercial use.

12. Our liability

We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for loss that is not foreseeable, or for business losses.

We do not limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

13. Events outside our control

We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including carrier disruption, extreme weather, and supplier failure. If such an event occurs we will contact you, and you may cancel for a full refund if the delay is substantial.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published when you place your order.

15. Complaints and disputes

Email support@madenot.com and we will do our best to resolve things directly. You can also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the Irish courts have jurisdiction. As a consumer you also have the benefit of the mandatory protections of the law where you live.
